TITANIUMTi 6-2-4-2 (Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo)
Ti 6-2-4-2 (Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo, UNS R54620) is a near-alpha titanium alloy developed for high-temperature service, combining high strength with excellent creep resistance and thermal stability. A small silicon addition (0.06-0.10%) further improves its creep strength. It retains its mechanical properties up to approximately 540°C (1000°F), well above the service range of Ti-6Al-4V, and is used for compressor blades, discs and cases in gas turbine engines, as well as afterburner and hot airframe sheet components. DASM supplies Ti 6-2-4-2 as sorted, analyzed, cut and shot-blasted melting feedstock.

TITANIUMTi Gr.7 (Ti-0.15Pd)
Ti Gr.7 (Ti-0.15Pd, UNS R52400) is Grade 2 titanium with a small addition of palladium (0.12-0.25%), and is one of the most corrosion-resistant titanium grades. The palladium addition greatly improves resistance to crevice corrosion in hot chloride brines and to reducing acids such as dilute hydrochloric and sulfuric acid, where unalloyed titanium is limited. Its mechanical properties are equivalent to Grade 2 (minimum tensile strength 345 MPa), and like Grade 2 it is generally used at service temperatures below approximately 400°C (750°F). DASM supplies Grade 7 as sorted, analyzed, cut and shot-blasted melting feedstock.

TITANIUMTi Gr.5 (Ti-6Al-4V)
Ti Gr.5 (Ti-6Al-4V, UNS R56400) is the most widely used titanium alloy, combining high strength, low density (4.43 g/cm³) and excellent corrosion resistance. As an alpha-beta alloy strengthened by aluminum and vanadium, it provides a minimum tensile strength of 895 MPa in the annealed condition, and can be further strengthened by solution treatment and aging. It retains useful strength up to approximately 400°C (750°F) and is the standard alloy for airframe structures, fasteners, and the fan and compressor sections of gas turbine engines. DASM supplies Ti-6Al-4V as sorted, analyzed, cut and shot-blasted melting feedstock for titanium ingot production.

TITANIUMTi CP Gr.2
Ti CP Grade 2 (UNS R50400) is the most widely used grade of commercially pure titanium, combining moderate strength with good ductility, cold formability and weldability. Its oxygen and iron limits are slightly higher than Grade 1, giving higher strength while retaining good formability. It offers excellent corrosion resistance in seawater, chloride and oxidizing environments, making it the standard grade for heat exchangers, condenser tubing and chemical process equipment. Its strength decreases as temperature rises, and it is generally used at service temperatures below approximately 400°C (750°F). DASM supplies Grade 2 as sorted, analyzed, cut and shot-blasted melting feedstock, and as Ti Cobble Gr.2, a recycled titanium charge for stainless steel, specialty steel and Ni-based alloy titanium additions.

TITANIUMTi CP Grade 1
Ti CP Grade 1 (UNS R50250) is the softest and most ductile grade of commercially pure titanium, with the lowest oxygen and iron limits among the CP grades. It offers the highest cold formability of all titanium grades, together with excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing, chloride and seawater environments. Because its strength drops as temperature rises, it is generally used at service temperatures below approximately 400°C (750°F). DASM supplies Grade 1 as Ti Cobble Gr.1, a source-separated recycled feedstock prepared from selected Gr.1 sheet with 100% sorting, surface cleaning and chemical analysis, for use as vacuum melting charge material.
